Colourful spring

Despite my adoration for fashion, my interest in the subject matter lies more with the art form and much less with trend spotting. In fact, once a style is identified as being trendy, I find myself even less inclined to adorn myself with the object of desire so as not to look like everyone else.  Regardless of my natural tendencies, there is one spring trend that I do love and have always loved, and that is colour. Vibrant violets, radiant reds, peppy pinks, optimistic oranges - shop windows are simply bursting with colours this season. But if I had to only one designer to brighten up my wardrobe, however, it would be Marc Jacobs and his rainbow of bright coloured dresses.
